The client is a US based market leader in compliance solutions for regulated industries. Their products are designed to monitor and collect data from file-based, databases and process control applications into a secure repository that is configured with rules, workflows and reports built to meet the requirements set out by 21 CFR § 11, SOX and other regulations.
To achieve this goal, the client had to establish a long term partnership with an off-shore development team that possesses the combination of proper technical expertise and flexibility to work within a rigid system development lifecycle (SDLC) mandated by the client and government regulations.
Softwarium was contracted to work alongside the client's internal team to architect, develop and maintain the product family. Each component had been developed and maintained under strict control of a rigid system development lifecycle (SDLC) model (which included rigorous QA controls and testing performed by the client).
Softwarium team utilized modern collaboration tools for software development including Distributed Source Control, Issue Tracking System, Automated Unit Testing, Automated Integration and GUI Testing.
Softwarium provided a reliable, long term, cost effective off-shore team for this software vendor. The initial effort has led to a 7 year relationship that has helped the vendor to maintain its leadership position in this space, while expanding the product offering and feature set to comply with the ever changing regulatory environment.
